Hey Vendors, Aaron here!

We are less than two weeks out from the Ohio Toy &  Comic Show and we‘ve got a little business to take care of. But first. I would like to personally thank each and everyone of you for setting up with us this year. It means a lot to me that you’ve decided to spend July 20th in Fairborn OH with us. Thank you.

Ok, now on to business. The vendor rooms will be open for set up on Friday evening from 5pm – 9pm. And Saturday from 7am-9am. IF YOU ARE LOCATED IN THE HALWAY, (I’ve told you if you are) you can ONLY set up Saturday morning, as your items will not be secure the evening before.

When you arrive, meet me at the hotel lobby, near the restaurant, where I will give you a contract, which needs to be read and signed before setting up. Look, You’ve all done shows before, so you know the drill. It’s your basic contract for setting up. Basically it says don’t be a jerk, don’t start any fires, blah blah blah.

Upon meeting me, I will also give you the room layouts with your table clearly marked. PLEASE NOTE: If you have set up with us in the past, there is a 99% chance, your regular space has been moved. The entire room got revamped, so more than likely you are in a new spot.

Also, some of you have paid for your tables, but a handful still need to make payment. You can either do that when you arrive to pick up your vendors info or later the day of the event. (around 1pm or 2pm, someone in the Ohio Toy & Comic staff will go table to table and hit you up.)

If you are in Vendor Halls 1 or 2, the best place to park for load in is around the back of the hotel. If you are in the new Pros Room, parking in the front of the hotel will be much easier for load in. See pic for reference. The hotel does provide luggage carts, but I’m really not sure how many they have. So to be on the safe side, if you’ve got a cart, bring it.

Also, if you have any flyers, pamphlets, business cards, or any other sort of promotional material for you or an upcoming Convention, bring it. We’ll have a ”Community Table” where we encourage all of our vendors and artists to help push their business and craft. The Table will be clearly visible and in a high traffic area so  attendees won;t be able to miss it!.

If you have any other questions, PLEASE ASK ME. Also, if you plan on bailing on the  show next weekend, now would be a great time to tell me. I won’t be upset, I promise. These things happen, but I’ve got a wait list of over 25 people itching to set up, and most will need a couple days notice.

Anyways, thanks again, and I’ll (hopefully) see everyone on the 20th!

Aaron Detrick
